Pastoral Team

Do you need someone to talk to you? Or possibly just someone to listen? Maybe you'd like someone to pray with you or to help you practically in some way. The pastoral care team at tKCC are here for you. They will do the best they can to provide care for you as you journey through life.

How do you get the help you need at tKCC ?

The pastoral support ministry is a confidential listening ministry. We have a committed and experienced team of Christians willing to spend time with you, listen to you and pray with you on a one to one basis. If we can help in a practical way, we'll do our best.

How does it Work ?

Someone to talk to: Are you feeling worried, confused, hurt or concerned about someone or something in your life? Please don't carry your burden alone. Arrange to meet with a member of our Pastoral Support team and talk to them.

Someone to listen: It can be a tremendous release to talk through our worries and concerns. It can be a great source of encouragement to have someone to give time to sit and listen to us.

Someone to Pray: Never hesitate to ask for prayer! God is interested in every area of our lives. A Pastoral Support team member will be happy to pray with you. Also, please feel free to complete and place one of the prayer request forms into the prayer request box located in the foyer, which will ensure our team of prayer intercessors will stand with you through the issues and concerns in your life.

Someone to Counsel: It is good to get support and prayer from a willing and experienced listener. However sometimes we may need help of a more specialist nature. The Pastoral Support team has specialist counsellors who are available to help you, or if this is not appropriate we can refer you to a specialist agencies outside AOG church.

Someone to help: You may just need some practical help, like does anyone have a bed or a chair you can have, need a hand wiith mvoing something, or need a lift on Sundays. We'll do our best to meet most reasonable requests, if we can.

How can you contact a Pastoral Support team member?

On Sunday, members of the Pastoral Support team will be available to pray with you or to arrange a time and place to meet with you during the week. Ask the welcome desk who's available on that day
Post box at the Welcome Desk - Leave a note of your name, address and contact details in the pastoral request box and a team member will contact you as soon as possible.
Contact the church office or e-mail care@kingscommunitychurch.org and someone will request a Pastoral Support team member to get in touch with you as soon as possible.
