What we do:
Radiate connects students. It's that simple.
Our aim is to provide venues that allow some good banter, BBQ's that provide great food, and events that result in great friendships. Fully supported by the King's Community Church, Radiate exists for all students, regardless of gender, race, nationality, or beliefs.
Designed for students. Run by students.
Range of Events:
Our events are seriously wide ranging, as they are planned with a specific audience in mind. For those of no faith, we offer opportunities to connect with others, have a great time, and enjoy a great evening. At Starbucks after-hours, we often have Quiz Nights, Open Mic Nights, Creative Arts Galleries and Live Music. BBQ's are a favourite, as are evenings on the beach. For the believer, we offer student focussed homegroups, prayer projects, worship meetings and opportunities to engage with God on a new level, and to be a witness for Him.
Vision Statement:
As part of the local church, Radiate introduces students to Christ, and shapes His followers for service to the church and the wider community.
Our Mission:
Radiate's mission is twofold. As part of the body of Christ, Radiate's objective is sustained evangelistic outreach to non-Christian students, whilst simultaneously discipling Christ's followers to have a deeper relationship with him and to carry forward the mission to the next generation. In line with Christ's commission (Matt 28:18-20), our aim is see not just converts but true disciples.
Our Core Values:
‘Belong before you believe' is a fundamental value of Radiate. Radiate is for all, irrespective of faith. Just as Christ reached out to those, regardless of their religious background or personal circumstances, Radiate desires to be a community, whereby people are welcome to belong before they believe.
Radiate aims to reflect the church's core values of loyalty, community, generosity, maturity and humility, as we serve, connect, share, grow and worship with each other.
