First impressions
Welcome to the website of the King's Community Church. Take a moment to browse our site and you'll be able to get a real idea of who we are through the information, stories and media clips we've posted. I reckon you'll see that we're a diverse community of people, who although at different points in our journey of faith, are seeking to pursue God and the full life He offers. We live to help others do the same whilst at the same time making a tangible difference in the world around us.
We'd love to see you at any of our Sunday services at 11am and 6pm. For now we hope you enjoy our site and that we get a chance to meet you soon.
What's tKCC like
We know it may not be easy visiting a new church for the first time. Sometimes you feel like a non-member visiting a private golf club. Do I belong here? Am I really welcome? Will the people be unfriendly, or too friendly? Will I be conspicuous? Will it be easy to leave if I don't enjoy it? Will they ask me for money? Will my kids enjoy it? How should I dress? Am I welcome if I don't believe?

We want to make visiting the King's Community Church (tKCC) an enjoyable experience, easy, stress-free, relaxing. We designed tKCC to be "user-friendly" for people, whatever their background, including those who have never been to church before. If we were visiting a new church for the first time, we'd like to know what to expect, so here's a brief overview.
- When you arrive at tKCC there should be some friendly people in the front entrance (we call them our "Welcome Team") to say hello and answer any questions you have. If your kids are shy, they're welcome to attend the adult service with you, but most kids really enjoy the kids program which leaves during the main service Many of us have children so we know how important it is for kids to enjoy church.
- If you arrive early, pick up information from the welcome area in the main entrance. The Welcome Team may hand you a welcome pack if they recognise this is your first time. If they don't and you are new, feel free to ask for one.
- Feel free to take any seat if you arrive early. No-one owns a seat at tKCC. You should be aware that downstairs gets busier closer to 11am (our start time) so if you want a downstairs seat, you should aim to arrive before 10.50am. Any later and you may be directed upstairs to the balcony. If you're meeting with some-one, just ask the welcome team if they know where that person is sitting and they may be able to take you to them if they know.
- During the service we break for a short welcome time to allow you to get to know who's sitting next to you and even a few rows back. We trust you'll agree we've got the welcome just about right.
Church is about God and worship, but it's also about community and friendship, so we hope people really experience warmth and friendliness and trust that your first impression of tKCC is a positive one.
